IBEL, REBECCA
For 16 years, Rebecca Ibel has owned and operated a contemporary fine art gallery. She studied art history at the American University in Paris, France, where she met her husband, Sebastian. Her foray into contemporary art began in New York at Sotheby’s, and was propelled by her move to Berlin where she organized exhibitions. Teased for treating Columbus as a suburb of New York, she returned to the city she loves, establishing roots in the Victorian Village with Sebastian, their daughter and dog (her horse stays at the barn).
